A Team Sport of Speed and Strategy
Volleyball is a dynamic and team-oriented sport that requires speed, agility, and strategic thinking. It’s played between two teams of six players each, with the goal of sending the ball over the net into the opponent’s court while preventing it from touching the ground on your own side.
The sport was created in 1895 by William G. Morgan as a less intense alternative to basketball. Today, volleyball has millions of fans and professional players worldwide.
Teamwork – Success in volleyball relies on strong cooperation between teammates.
Speed and Agility – Quick movements, powerful jumps, and precise hits are essential.
